This trend can prevent construction contractors from offering customers new approaches to construction that are advantageous for both parties. New technology is simply becoming a must for contractors, especially in the project bid process.
Experts believe that contractors who fail to embrace new technology lose competitiveness, have inefficiencies in their projects and could compromise safety on the jobsite. Industry studies confirm a large percentage of contractors are very interested in new technology; however, many of these same contractors will not invest in the new technologies their companies need.
